To ensure the safety, well-being and overall comfort of the participants, NDIS also funds several assistive products for household tasks. As a team assigned to your care, we will identify your needs and help you secure the needful assistive equipment. Assistive equipment includes products to enable cooking, cleaning, washing, home maintenance and other tasks.
The basic assistive products for household tasks include:
- Mobility aids like wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc.
- Continence products like adult diapers.
- Hearing aids
- Consumables like nutritional aids, daily continence supplies, wound care products, etc.
- Other assistive products like alarms, doorbells, adapted clocks, etc.
- Bathroom and toilet equipment.
- Bed and pressure mattresses.
